What it means
The S-127 sign informs of a service area. It indicates the presence or proximity of an area prepared to serve road users, normally with services for rest, refuelling, or other travel needs depending on what exists at that place. It usually appears on motorways, dual carriageways, and main roads before the corresponding exit or access. When you see it, decide in time whether you will enter, position yourself in the correct lane, and avoid late manoeuvres. In the test it is often asked as a service sign, and you should not attribute to it an obligation to exit or specific services not indicated by additional panels.
