What it means
The S-362 sign is placed over the carriageway on a conventional road and indicates an immediate exit toward a motorway or dual carriageway and the through direction. It links each lane with its destination, allowing you to distinguish between leaving the road to access the high-capacity road or continuing on the current itinerary. It usually appears just before links where a late decision may cause dangerous lane changes. When you see it, read the sign above your lane, confirm the route, and keep a predictable path. In the test they often check that it combines immediate exit, conventional road, and direction toward a motorway or dual carriageway.
