Sign S-104: Telefono

Telefono
Official Spanish DGT catalogue image — S-104

What it means

The S-104 sign indicates a telephone. It informs of the proximity or location of a telephone available to ask for help, report an incident, or contact services when necessary. It does not authorise stopping in any manner or replace the rules on stopping, parking, or safety at the place. It usually appears on roads, in tunnels, service areas, lay-bys, stations, or facilities where that resource exists. When you see it, identify its location and, if you need to use it, stop only in a permitted and safe place. In the test it is usually treated as a service sign and distinguished from emergency or mandatory signs.
