What it means
The S-100 sign informs of a first-aid post. It indicates the presence or direction of a place where basic help can be provided in the event of an accident, illness, or incident, without by itself changing priorities or authorising dangerous manoeuvres. It usually appears on roads, service areas, road facilities, tourist zones, or points where assistance is offered to users. When you see it, if you need help prepare access safely; if you continue, avoid blocking entrances and remain attentive. In the test they often classify it as a service sign and distinguish it from hospital, ambulance, or specific emergency signs.
