What it means
The S-50b sign informs of lanes reserved for traffic according to the signed speed. It shows how the carriageway is distributed and which lanes are associated with certain traffic speeds, so you must read each indication before choosing position. It usually appears on multi-lane roads, gradients, overtaking stretches, or areas where traffic is organised by speed. When you see it, position yourself in advance, respect the signing for your lane, and avoid late changes. In the test they often check that you do not interpret one single speed for the whole carriageway or ignore the lane-by-lane reservation.
