What it means
The S-880 sign indicates the application of signing to certain vehicles. It is a supplementary panel limiting the scope of the main sign to the vehicles represented or mentioned, so it should not be interpreted separately from the sign above. It is usually placed below danger, prohibition, obligation, or information signs when only certain vehicles are affected. When you see it, identify the main sign first and then check whether your vehicle belongs to the indicated group. In the test they often expect you neither to apply the order to all users nor to ignore the panel, because the key is the specific affected vehicle.
