What it means
The S-264 sign gives advance information on a conventional road for a service road. It informs in advance of an access toward a parallel or service road, so you can decide whether you need to leave the main carriageway. It does not require leaving the road or guarantee the specific services that may exist afterwards. It is usually placed before accesses to areas, facilities, properties, industrial estates, or local routes connected by a service road. When you see it, confirm your route, signal in time if you will exit, and avoid late manoeuvres. In the test they often distinguish service road from service area and from a mandatory exit.
