What it means
The S-266a sign gives advance notice on a motorway or dual carriageway of a service road with an exclusive exit. It indicates that access to that service road is made through its own exit, separate from other destinations, so you can decide and position yourself in time. It usually appears before links or parallel areas where the service road is connected by a specific slip road. When you see it, confirm whether you need that road, signal the move to the exit lane, and avoid leaving the main road by mistake. In the test they often distinguish exclusive exit from shared exit and from a service area.
