What it means
The P-26 sign warns of falling material. It means stones, soil, or other material may fall onto the carriageway, or that debris may already be in the lane, creating risk for your path and tyres. It usually appears beside slopes, cuttings, embankments, mountain areas, or stretches exposed to falling material. When you see it, reduce speed, watch the carriageway more carefully, and avoid stopping below unstable areas unless necessary. In the test they often ask that the danger is not only falling from the side, but also the possible presence of obstacles already on the road.
