What it means
The P-33 sign warns of reduced visibility. It means you may enter a stretch where seeing and being seen is more difficult because of fog, smoke, heavy rain, dust, road layout, or another circumstance compatible with the surroundings, so you must increase prudence. It usually appears before areas where that lack of visibility is common or especially dangerous for anticipating obstacles, pedestrians, or slow vehicles. When you see it, moderate speed, increase distance, and use the lighting appropriate to the real situation. In the test they often ask about preventive behaviour and distinguish it from a weather or tunnel sign.
