What it means
The P-2 sign warns of an intersection where priority to the right applies. It does not give you automatic priority because you are going straight ahead: you must especially check accesses on your right and give way when that rule requires it. It usually appears before junctions without a specific priority sign for the road you are travelling on, where visibility or habit may lead you to enter too confidently. When you see it, slow down, be ready to stop if necessary, and confirm whether other users are present. In the test it is often used to distinguish it from an intersection with priority and from give way.
