What it means
The P-4 sign warns of an intersection with roundabout circulation. It tells you that ahead you will find a roundabout or a point regulated by traffic moving around an island, where you must choose lane, observe those already circulating, and signal your movements. It usually appears before roundabout accesses when it is useful to anticipate slowing and reading destinations. When you see it, look ahead, prepare the entry, and do not improvise lane changes at the last moment. In the test they often distinguish it from the blue mandatory roundabout direction sign and ask that this one is a danger warning.
