What it means
The P-1b sign warns of an intersection where you keep priority over a road on the left. Although you are travelling on the priority road, you must look to that side, adapt your speed, and anticipate that another user may join or cross incorrectly. It usually appears before junctions where the main road continues and a secondary road arrives from the left. When you see it, keep a clear path, avoid signals that contradict your manoeuvre, and do not confuse priority with an absolute clear passage. In the test they often check that you distinguish priority over the left-hand road from the general priority-to-the-right rule.
