What it means
The R-307 sign prohibits stopping and parking. It prevents both voluntarily stopping the vehicle on the affected stretch and leaving it parked, except for situations imposed by traffic or by a justified cause that are not a voluntary stop. It is usually placed on narrow streets, accesses, lanes where flow must be maintained, areas with reduced visibility, or places reserved for other uses. When you see it, do not use that space to pick up or drop off people, load, or park. In the test they often distinguish it from the sign that only prohibits parking: here the prohibition also covers stopping.
