What it means
The S-261 sign indicates advance signing on a conventional road for a service zone or area. It informs in advance that farther ahead there is a zone, area, or set of services accessible from the road, so you can decide without sudden manoeuvres whether you need to exit. It usually appears before rest areas, service stations, workshops, restaurants, or other resources grouped for travellers. When you see it, read the supplementary information, check whether the access interests you, and position yourself in time. In the test they usually treat it as advance information, not as an obligation to enter or a guarantee of every possible service.
