What it means
The S-263 sign gives advance information on a motorway or dual carriageway for a service zone or area with a shared exit. It means access to those services uses an exit that may also serve other destinations or movements, so you must interpret the whole panel before deciding. It usually appears before links where the service area does not have a clearly separate exclusive exit. When you see it, confirm whether you want to access the service, position yourself in advance, and avoid moving into the exit lane impulsively. In the test they often check that you recognise the shared exit and do not think all vehicles must leave the road.
