
What it means
The S-860 sign is a generic panel. It adds supplementary information to a main sign when the message does not correspond to a more specific panel, so its meaning depends on the text, symbol, or indication it carries. It is usually placed below danger, regulatory, or information signs to specify scope, conditions, affected users, or circumstances of application. When you see it, do not memorise it as an isolated order: read the main sign and the panel content as a whole. In the test they often check exactly that, that a generic panel complements and qualifies but does not replace the sign above.
