What it means
The P-13b sign warns of a dangerous curve to the left. It means the road layout turns that way and may require you to slow before entering, keep a precise path, and anticipate reduced visibility within the curve. It is usually placed before curves where entering too fast or entering the opposite lane may create risk. When you see it, adapt speed in advance, steer smoothly, and keep your lane until visibility returns. In the test they often ask the side of the curve and distinguish it from the dangerous curve to the right or from successive-curve signs.
