What it means
The P-15b sign warns of a dip. It indicates a depression or downward change in the carriageway profile that may affect comfort, stability, and braking distance if you arrive without adapting your speed. It usually appears before sunken sections, points with an abrupt change of grade, or areas where the road surface requires crossing a low point carefully. When you see it, slow down before entering, keep the vehicle aligned, and avoid sudden manoeuvres while passing through it. In the test it is often contrasted with a raised bump, because one announces a profile that goes down and the other one that projects upward.
