What it means
The P-19 sign warns of slippery pavement. It means grip may be lower than normal because of the road surface condition, moisture, dirt, or other visible or foreseeable circumstances, so sudden manoeuvres and braking may be more delicate. It usually appears before stretches where the surface easily loses adhesion or where the driver must anticipate that risk. When you see it, slow down smoothly, increase following distance, and avoid accelerating, braking, or turning suddenly. In the test they often ask about preventive behaviour, and you should not confuse it with uneven pavement or danger from loose gravel.
