What it means
The P-25 sign warns of traffic in both directions. It means you are entering a stretch where vehicles may travel in the opposite direction, so you must stop thinking of the road as one-way or as lanes separated in a single direction. It usually appears at the end of a one-way stretch, roadworks diversion, separated carriageway, or any layout that changes to two-way traffic. When you see it, position yourself correctly, pay extra attention to overtaking, and respect the markings separating directions. In the test they often ask that the danger is oncoming traffic, not an obligation to turn.
