What it means
The R-205 sign sets a height limitation. It prohibits passage by vehicles whose height, including the load, exceeds the value shown on the sign, because they could hit the obstacle or fail to pass the signed point. It usually appears before bridges, tunnels, underpasses, canopies, covered accesses, or roadworks with reduced clearance. When you see it, check the real height of the vehicle and find an alternative route if you do not comply with the limit. In the test it is often distinguished from width or length limitations, and they remind you that the load also counts if it increases the total height.
