What it means
The S-235 sign gives advance directions, through overhead signs, on a motorway or dual carriageway toward any road. It informs by lane of upcoming destinations or exits, so that you can position yourself in the correct lane in advance. It does not turn the indication into an obligation to exit if your route continues in another permitted lane. It usually appears suspended or placed over the road before complex links. When you see it, read each panel, avoid late changes, and keep distance. In the test they often ask that it is overhead advance signing and that it guides lane choice.
