What it means
The S-235a sign gives advance information with overhead signs on a motorway or dual carriageway for directions toward any road and the continuing direction. It informs by lanes which path leaves the road and which continues, so you choose position before the separation point. It usually appears at high-capacity links where reading the sign above each lane prevents late changes. When you see it, confirm your destination, keep distance, and do not cross lanes abruptly. In the test they often check that it combines advance signing, overhead signs, motorway or dual carriageway, and a direction that continues.
