What it means
The R-203 sign indicates a length limitation. It prohibits passage to vehicles or combinations whose length exceeds the value shown on the sign itself, so the key is not the vehicle type alone but its total length when travelling through that access or stretch. It usually appears before tight bends, narrow streets, tunnels, bridges, through roads, or routes where a long vehicle cannot manoeuvre safely. When you see it, check whether your vehicle is affected and take an alternative route. In the test they often combine it with width, height, or mass signs so that you do not confuse the limited dimension.
