What it means
The R-403c sign indicates the only permitted directions and ways. It requires you to follow exclusively the options shown on the sign, so any turn, movement ahead, or direction not displayed is prohibited at that point. It is usually placed at junctions, roundabouts, accesses, or forks where traffic is to be organised and incompatible movements avoided. When you see it, choose in time the lane corresponding to one of the permitted directions and do not improvise a different manoeuvre. In the test they often stress the word only and that it is a mandatory sign, not an information panel for destinations.
