What it means
The R-405 sign indicates a carriageway for motorcycles. It reserves or orders that carriageway for users riding motorcycles, so other users must not occupy it if they are not authorised by the applicable signing. It usually appears at accesses, forks, separated routes, or points where traffic is organised by vehicle type. When you see it, if you ride an affected motorcycle you must follow the indicated route when required; if you drive another vehicle, respect the reservation and do not confuse it with a mere recommendation. In the test they often ask which user is included and distinguish it from signs prohibiting entry to motorcycles.
