What it means
The R-407 sign indicates a road reserved for cycles or a cycle route. It marks a space intended for cycle circulation and regulates its use, so other users must respect the reservation unless expressly authorised by the applicable signing. It usually appears at the start of lanes, paths, accesses, or cycling itineraries separated from general traffic. When you see it, if you are riding a cycle follow the route that applies to you; if you drive another vehicle, do not enter that space and pay extra attention at crossings. In the test they often distinguish it from the triangular sign that only warns of cyclists.
