What it means
The R-411 sign indicates minimum speed. It requires you to travel, while it applies, at least at the speed shown on the sign, unless a justified safety reason or road conditions prevent you from maintaining it. It usually appears on carriageways, lanes, or stretches where too low a speed may obstruct traffic or create risky situations. When you see it, check whether your vehicle can comply with the obligation and maintain a pace compatible with traffic. In the test they often distinguish it from maximum speed and remember that the specific number is the one shown on the sign, not a memorised figure.
