What it means
The R-416 sign indicates a carriageway for vehicles carrying explosive or flammable goods. It orders those vehicles to use the signed route when carrying that load, separating their movement onto a road intended for that specific risk. It usually appears at links, forks, accesses to tunnels, diversions, or areas where this transport is channelled for safety and organisation. When you see it, if you drive an affected vehicle you must follow the indicated carriageway; if not, respect the layout and avoid improperly occupying the reserved route. In the test they often distinguish it from the entry ban for those vehicles, because here it orders them to follow a carriageway.
