What it means
The R-418 sign indicates a road exclusively for vehicles fitted with operating electronic toll equipment. It reserves the access or lane for vehicles whose device is working, so you must not use it if you cannot pay or be identified through that system. It usually appears at tolls, controlled accesses, channelled lanes, or entries where traffic is separated by payment method. When you see it, check in advance whether your vehicle meets the condition and choose another lane if it does not. In the test they often focus on the word operating: merely having a switched-off or unusable device is not enough.
