What it means
The R-500 sign indicates the end of prohibitions. It means the previous specific prohibitions affecting the stretch cease to apply, but it does not remove the general traffic rules or any other signs that remain in force. It usually appears at the end of an area with restrictions, after roadworks, a regulated through road, or a stretch with several accumulated prohibitions. When you see it, you may return to the conditions allowed by the road, always checking markings, new signs, and traffic circumstances. In the test they often ask whether it cancels obligations or general limits; the correct answer requires understanding that it only ends applicable signed prohibitions.
