What it means
The S-116 sign informs of a campsite and ground for caravan trailers. It indicates the presence or direction of an area intended for camping and for caravans or caravan trailers, without by itself authorising parking or camping outside permitted places. It usually appears on tourist routes, accesses to recreational areas, roads near campsites, or service panels. When you see it, confirm whether you want to access it, prepare the manoeuvre in advance, and respect the rules of the site or road. In the test it is often distinguished from signs for a hotel, restaurant, or simple rest area.
