What it means
The S-118 sign informs of a tourist information point. It indicates the presence or direction of a service where travellers can obtain guidance on resources, routes, or useful information, but it does not establish priority, obligation, or traffic restriction. It usually appears at accesses to towns, monument areas, service areas, or tourist routes. When you see it, if you need the service prepare the manoeuvre in advance without surprising other users; if you continue, remain alert to possible entrances and pedestrians. In the test they often ask you to distinguish it from other service signs, especially general information or tourist-interest places.
