What it means
The S-810 sign indicates the length of the dangerous stretch or the stretch subject to a prescription. It is a supplementary panel specifying for what distance the danger, prohibition, obligation, or indication of the main sign continues. It should not be read in isolation, because its meaning always depends on the sign above. It is usually placed below signs when the risk or regulation is not limited to the exact point where they are installed. When you see it, maintain the required behaviour for the full indicated length. In the test it is often distinguished from the panel showing distance to the start, because here the stretch length is expressed.
